Argument #2
To change your mind is simply part of human nature. Opinions and ideas are always changing. One day you may want one thing and the next you'll want the complete opposite. To stay next to one idea is to be closed minded and unrealistic. People should speak their minds and stand firm behind their ideas because at the end of the day that is what they believe, even if they change their mind later on.
For one to change their mind, it’s normal. For someone who wouldn't or couldn't change their mind is a fool. This is because they can't see both sides. When you're able to change your mind then you can see both sides to things and are able to argue either side. This is why changes of opinion are healthy, it helps develop and create healthy communication skills that help you debate with others, become empathetic, and shows you are an open-minded individual.
It could be argued that if you made one choice and then later change your mind then you're a hypocrite. However, this isn't true because something could have happened to change your mind. For example, how many of your own friends have you made plans with and then could't go with because they cancelled? Do you know why they may have cancelled? Most likely because something came up. It could even have been the death of a relative or a loved pet had to be taken to the vet in urgency. Believe that too your friends, they [their pets and relatives] come before you do, so if something happens then they will think of them before you even come to mind. Its understandable and normal to have a change of mind.
Opinions at the end of the day are just opinions, they change for some and don't for others; this has to be respected. However, opinions change, which means that once I post this blog I may regret it because I may decide to be against the idea of changing your mind. As of right now, in my opinion, ideas change. Which people have to understand and respect that it doesn't make someone a hypocrite that they've changed their minds because it is normal.
