King of the Burgers

Brad Blum, the CEO of Burger King, believes the American Dream is real, although this is false because as a white male he can have things his way, for other people this wouldn't be the case. He believes everyone has rights, and they do, but not everyone has the same privileges. Blum's false idea that everyone can have whatever they want, and can have whatever they want their way is unrealistic. He used the Bill of Rights to make his claim.

Mr. Blum believes the American Dream is real and you can have it any way you like. He demonstrates this by connecting it to the Bill of Rights. The Bill of Rights is the first ten amendments of the constitution. These protect individual liberties and limit the governments power. A good example of the way Brad Blum worded this similarly to the Bill of Rights was "You have the right to mix Coke and Sprite." The Bill of Rights protects your right to worship and practice any religion and it protects your right to freedom of speech. He is creating an allusion by repeating himself consistantly in to bring the image of the Bill of Rights to mind. In addition to his repetition Blum uses a lot of pathos in his Burger Kind Bill of Rights. He states, "You have the right to put a paper crown on your head and pretend you're the ruler of "(your make-believe kingdom here)". " In this Blum emphasizes one can put a crown on his own head and have anything because he is the king of his own land. As a white male he gets "white privilege" and really can have what he wants, he does not understand the discrimination other cultures get, the American dream isn't real for everyone.

To Brad Blum the American Dream is available to everyone. To him its, "You have the right to have the American Dream any way you want and no one can take it from you because it is your right." He has a false idea of the American Dream and is promoting false propaganda in his Burger King Bill of Rights.
